Visiting a new salon may feel a little intimidating, especially if you're unsure of what to expect. To help make sure your first visit is as seamless and comfortable for you as possible we have compiled some helpful information to share with you.
Please come to your appointment with clean dry hair styled the way you normally wear it!
Avoid wearing clothing items that are bulky, especially turtle necks.
Pictures, inspo pics, screenshots & Pinterest boards are always welcome!
Pro-tip: showing us 1-2 pics of looks you want to avoid are just as important as the looks you want to achieve.
If you're struggling to find that perfect inspiration photo you can always scroll through the Desert Rose instagram or Facebook page.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Please arrive 10 minutes early- we do have some paperwork for you to complete and we want to have plenty of time for your consultation.
We want you to love your hair so we will be asking you a lot of questions during your consultation- this is a judgment free zone so please be honest about your hair history, your lifestyle, & your hair goals. We'll discuss not just your goals for today, but your goals long term.
We are all about transparency. We'll recap your service plan and pricing before we get started.
Desert Rose Retreat Salon & Medspa is on the corner of Ruth St and Hillside. Parking can be a bit tricky around the salon, but you’ll often find room either in the front of the salon (on Ruth st.) or around the back (off of Hillside) in the parking lot.
Please don’t hesitate to ask for a silent appointment if you’re feeling anxious, tired or mentally drained ect. or just want to avoid conversation and have some quiet time.
There will be no judgment… there never is! Regardless of your reason, you are always welcome to utilize this option. Your mental health matters. 🤍
Canceling/ Rescheduling an Appointment
We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule please contact us VIA PHONE (928.778.9798) AT LEAST 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment (date and time) to avoid cancellation fee.
*Cancellation is required 24 hours prior to appointment; failure to cancel within the required time will result in a fee of 50% of scheduled appointment being charged to credit card on file. Failure to cancel is considered a No Show. Should a No Show occur, 100% of the service will be charged to the card.
Until Next Time...
At the end of your appointment we will discuss maintenance, take home products and booking. You will have the option to pre-book if you know your schedule in advance.
